Unit Plan: Introduction to Genetics
Welcome to my Unit Plan! This Unit Plan was created throughout a semester in SEC 300, a class offered through the Watson College of Education. It focuses on introducing the concept of genetics to high school students, a topic that is intensely studied in biology classrooms throughout the state. In my Unit Plan, you will notice differentiation throughout my lesson plans, as well as a focus on technology to help develop students into global, 21st century learners.
Meet Ms. Pack
"I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious" - Albert Einstein
I am currently a student at the wonderful University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where I am studying Biology and Secondary Education. I am also a North Carolina Teaching Fellow. Originally from Waxhaw, NC, I have fallen in love with life by the sea. I love exploring and understanding the world around me, and find myself constantly asking "Why?". I hope to instill this mindset in my students, as well as the notion to never, ever give up. In my spare time, I enjoy learning how to play guitar, watching Netflix, and playing with my pet hedgehog Momo!
